About Greg Bear

Greg Bear (1951-2022) was the author of THE UNFINISHED LAND (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt 2021), KILLING TITAN (Orbit 2015), HULL ZERO THREE (Orbit 2010), CITY AT THE END OF TIME (Del Rey 2009), MARIPOSA (Perseus paperback November 2010), HALO: CRYPTUM, HALO: PRIMORDIUM, and HALO: SILENTIUM (Tor, 2011, 2012, and 2013). He was the father of two young writers, Chloe and Alexandra, and was married to Astrid Anderson Bear, who has written for SAN DIEGO NOIR.

Greg Bear published more than thirty novels and five story collections, earning him five Nebulas, two Hugos, two Endeavours, and the Galaxy Award (China). He was one of the original founders of San Diego Comic-Con.
